Sintra 18 70

The most beautiful Palace in the world

One day during our stay in Portugal, we went to Sintra, a little town about 25km away from Lisbon. Sintra itself is a lovely spot with beautiful old bulidings and of course lots of cafés where you can try the famous Travasseiros pastry. But the real highlight is the Pena Palace. When I first saw it I just couldn’t believe how beautiful it actually looked in real life. It is a colourful castle which was bulit in 1842 and the design was inspired by an opera scene. Located in the Woods on top of a hill, it’s quite a hike from Sintra, but definitely worth it. I enjoyed it so much just walking the tiny paths and appreciating the dreamy and romatic atmosphere. I hope you enjoy the pictures my loves xx Lea

In Sintra we went to a cute Café and tried almost every pastry from the menu Card. My favourite one was the sweet pastry with almond filling.
