Dark Chocolate Cookies & Peanutbutterdrops

A few weeks ago I made cookies for my best friends’s birthday celebration. She loves peanutbutter and Reese’s Peanutbuttercups so I decided to spice the normal “dark chocolate cookie” up with some peanutbutter drops and Reeses instead of only dark chocolate. The cookies turned out pretty good according to the guests at her party which I was so happy about. I only baked them for 10 min, so they would stay soft and rather chewy. What I love about cookies is that they are very simple to make, you just need a few ingedients a bowl something to stir it with (a mixer isn’t even neccessary) and your hands to squidge the dough. I hope you enjoy the recipe 😀 Have a lovely day everyone

Ingredients you will need:

  • 275g flour
  • 60g coca powder
  • 1 egg
  • 200g butter (soft, roomtemperature)
  • 220g sugar
  • a dash of milk
  • one bar of milkchocolate
  • a few reeses cups
  • peanutbutterdrops

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C
  2. First you have to stir the butter with the sugar
  3. add the egg and stir until all ingedients are well mixed
  4. add the flour and the coca poder and start to squidge the dough with your hands
  5. If the dough is to dry add just a little bit of milk, but the dough shouldn’t be too sticky though
  6. cut the chocolate bar and the reeses into little carré’s and add them to the dough
  7. If you’re satisfied with the texture, you can start to form the cookies, I usually don’t make the cookies too big, because otherwise they will still be raw after 10 min of baking. Then add the peanutbutterdrops on top of the cookies.
  8. Put them into the oven for 10 min, they may be very soft while they’re hot, but after cooling off the cookies will have the perfect consistence.
  9. Last but not least: Enjoy the cookies with a glass of milk & share them with the ones you love 😀
