Route 66 & Monument Valley

Continuation of my US-Roadtrip diary –  so we stayed in Flagstaff for two days and continued our journey to Colorado. On the way we drove on the famous Route 66, a thing that has been on my bucketlist for ages. On the way we passed by Utah to visit Monument Valley. It looked exactly like on the postcards. The red sand and the vast sandstone buttes looked amazing. I just loved it there. We also went to the four corners, a place where the four states Arizona, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico are located. And it’s the only place in the US where four states meet. Probably you have seen this place in series and movies. I hope you enjoy the pictures xoxo Lea

The landscape has changed dramatically, I mean one hour before we were in the red landscape of monument valley and now we’re almost in the rocky mountains 😀

flagstaff_210_060As we drove through Colorado we saw wild horses, it just reminded me of my favourite childhoodmovie “Spirit”
