Monterosso al Mare & Corniglia
The northernmost village was Monterosso al Mare. And there I had the most amazing Icecream ever. It was soo creamy and the flavour was called “Cinque Terre” somehow it tasted a little bit like sweet baileys. Italy is a gelati paradise anyway 😀 We had to hurry a little because the weatherforecast told us that it was going to rain and get chilly in the evening. But I really wanted to visit Corniglia as well, and we were so lucky that it just started to rain when we were already back from Cinque Terre. When you look at the pictures of Corniglia it was already quite dark…. but it still looked so charming with the laterns and the restaurants and café’s there were decorated so lovingly with fairy lights and candles. Unfortunately I couldn’t take any good pictures of them due to the darkness. I hope you enjoy the pictures my loves xoxo Lea
Icecream –> flavour Cinque Terre cream
lemon stuff everywhere
Hello Corniglia – as you might see Corniglia is located quite on top of the cliff so if you miss the bus, you have to walk up there, which we did and I was pretty exhausted afterwards 😀 It was worth it anyway because it’s such a beautiful place.
