Monterosso al Mare & Corniglia

The northernmost village was Monterosso al Mare. And there I had the most amazing Icecream ever. It was soo creamy and the flavour was called “Cinque Terre” somehow it tasted a little bit like sweet baileys. Italy is a gelati paradise anyway ūüėÄ We had to hurry a little because the weatherforecast told us that it was going to rain and get chilly¬†in the evening. But I¬†really wanted to visit Corniglia as well, and we were so lucky that it¬†just started to rain when we were already back from Cinque Terre. When you look at the pictures of Corniglia it was already¬†quite dark….¬†but it¬†still looked so charming with the¬†laterns and the restaurants and caf√©’s there¬†were decorated so lovingly with fairy lights and candles. Unfortunately I couldn’t take any¬†good pictures of them due to the¬†darkness.¬†I hope you enjoy the pictures my loves xoxo Lea

Hello Corniglia – as you might see Corniglia is located quite on top of the cliff so if you miss the bus, you have to walk up there, which we did and I was pretty exhausted afterwards ūüėÄ It was worth it anyway because it’s such a beautiful place.cornigla_206_006
